November 21 Trail Report

November 21, 2025 9:18 AM

Deep ruts cut through muddy trail, showing damage created during poor weather conditions.

If today's weather forecast holds truer than yesterday's (which didn't call for all the rain we received mid-day), then we should be on the cusp of a slight drying trend. For this morning, however, many trails are likely still muddy - please refer to our Interactive Map for the latest updates.

The inversion we're experiencing will slow our drying time down, but if the sun appears by early afternoon as predicted, that should help significantly.

We are entering our winter weather and trail condition pattern, meaning that you need to be cognizant of tread conditions as you travel. Simply put, if you are leaving tracks, turn back and allow the trail a bit more time to dry out. Much work has been done by Ridge to Rivers trail crews over the past few weeks to prepare the trails for winter weather. Traveling on these trails when they are soft and muddy will negate those efforts very quickly and lead to trail erosion. Think sandier trails, creative routes that keep your feet and wheels on dry trails, and most of all patience to allow conditions to improve.

Thanks for checking the forecast and Happy Trails!
