Ridge to Rivers

FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH WEEKEND TRAIL REPORT:

Trails are in great shape for the upcoming weekend, and flowers are in full bloom in the Foothills presently. Balsamroot is blooming in profusion in many locations including the Seamans Gulch area, Military Reserve, Table Rock and the Boise River Wildlife Management Area. In addition, the well-known balsamroot hillside on Watchman Trail should be in full bloom any day now. Bitterbrush is also blooming like crazy along many trails.

Maintenance has recently been completed on numerous trails by Ridge to Rivers crews as well as volunteer groups like SWIMBA, Payette Brewing and REI this past week. Shane's, Bob's, Red Tail, Red Cliffs, Central Ridge Spurs, Central Ridge, Rock Island, Table Rock Quarry Trail, Trail 5 and Ridgecrest have all seen improvements in the last week alone.
