March 8 Trail Report

While things are starting to look pretty good and the trails are working hard to dry out, there is still some significant moisture lingering from recent weather. As the sun comes out, you can expect to find varying conditions with dry trails and a mix of muddy conditions across much of the lower-elevation system. If you do come across a muddy section, please remember to turn around and choose another path to protect our trails.

 

For those looking for a real adventure today, your best bet is to head up high. Stack Rock and other higher-elevation trails are still sporting a snowy coat, offering stable conditions and a fun winter experience.
