Don't let the lack of rain today fool you. While the wind and the trails are doing their best to dry out, there is still a significant amount of moisture lingering from previous precipitation. Trail users can expect to find plenty of muddy conditions across the lower-elevation system as temperatures climb toward a high of 50 degrees.

Your best bet for your recreational needs will be to seek out a snowy adventure by heading to higher elevation trails, which remain snow-covered and stable. Otherwise, please stick to all-weather trails and gravel roads while the lower system continues to dry. Please continue to use the Wet and Winter Weather tips and Ridge to Rivers Interactive Map for the most up-to-date, color-coded conditions on your favorite routes.

If you are itching to get out today we recommend checking out sandier trails, 8th Street Road, Rocky Canyon Road, or all-weather alternatives and even the Boise River Greenbelt.
