March 31 Trail Report

Our trail crews have been hard at work doing spring maintenance on Sideshow, 3 Bears, Peggy's and numerous trails in Military Reserve over the past week. Sideshow in particular has been improved with some table tops added on the lower end, and increased height add to some of the banked turns.

We appear on the verge of finally getting some much needed spring rain over the next few days. If we get a significant amount, trail conditions will become muddy and unusable for a few days. The nice thing about spring is that trails dry much more quickly than during winter months, so the weekend could again bring us great walking, running and riding conditions!

If we get significant moisture, the planned opening of Landslide Trail and Sideshow Trail on April 1, as well as the directional change on Polecat Loop, will be delayed until our crews can get to those locations without causing trail damage.
