Trail 6

Well it appears that the winter-that-wasn't is coming to a close - especially with 80-degree temperatures forecast for later this week! Trails in the lower and mid-Foothills are dry. Trails at upper elevations still have snow coverage however so plan accordingly if you choose to drive up Bogus Basin Road.

IMPORTANT ITEMS:

  • Today we will be pulling the seasonal trail closures that have been in place for muddy conditions since January. Those trails are: Old Pen Trail, Seamans Gulch Trail, Who Now Loop Trail, Ridgecrest Trail, Heroes Trail, Bucktail and Two Point Trail. Please note that these trails could close again for a short time if we get into a prolonged wet weather pattern.

Thank you all for respecting these closures - the trails are in much better shape because of it.

  • Directional travel on Polecat Loop Trail will switch to CLOCKWISE on April 1st.
  • Landslide Loop will open for the year on April 1st.

Now that spring conditions have arrived, we will no longer be doing daily trail condition updates. We will provide trail updates on Tuesdays and Fridays, unless we get into a wet weather pattern - if so, will provide updates as often as necessary.
