June 26 Weekend Trail Report

It looks like an interesting turn of weather events this weekend! Rain is forecast through Sunday although amounts seem to vary quite a bit. If you've been out on the trails lately you know they're plenty dry, so they will be able to soak up at least the start of this weather event without getting greasy.

That said, we may get enough rain by sometime Saturday to make at least the trails with darker soils (higher clay content) muddy. Plan for sandier outings and please turn around if you encounter muddy conditions - don't track through them.

A little patience will pay off in spades with continued great trail conditions once trails dry back out - and that doesn't take too long this time of year - so emphasis on "a little patience."
