January 18 Trail Report

With an early morning temperature of 26 and a high of 37, today is almost a carbon copy of the past week. That being the case there is little we can add to what if you are reading this report regularly, you already know.

The system is your oyster if you can get up early and be out on the trails while they are frozen.

Mud is widespread across the system by mid to late morning.

Sandy trails and all-weather trails can be used throughout the day.

Frustration is growing not only among trail professionals who work hard to provide a quality system for everyone to enjoy, but among trail users who care about the sustainability of our trails. Again, if you are reading this report most of you fall into that category. Please help us by spreading this simple message – it the trails are muddy, turn around and find somewhere else to recreate.
