January 11 Trail Report
January 11, 2026 8:00 AM
There is a ton of variety with trail conditions throughout the system! So it is important to choose your route carefully. The wind and slightly warmer weather is doing it best to dry things out so our sandier trails are currently good to go. Some of these dandy recommendations include; all weather trails, Freestone Ridge, Toll Road, and Lower Hulls.
However, most of the system is experiencing a freeze-thaw cycle. This means that while trails are frozen and stable in the early morning hours, they will begin to thaw as temperatures rise, becoming extremely muddy by mid-morning. To help protect the trail system from damage and rutting, please be mindful of your location and plan to be off the dirt trails by 11:00 AM.
If you are craving some snow because the valley has been lacking it this season, head up to 8th Street Road where the higher elevation is holding onto more winter conditions.
