Happy Monday! We are thrilled to report that the trails are looking prime for your morning adventures across the system.

With a beautiful start to the day, conditions are expected to be dry and tacky through the early hours and most of the day. However, keep a close eye on the sky! We are expecting some rain showers to move in by mid-afternoon. To keep our system in great shape, we recommend sticking to all-weather trails once the moisture hits to see how things shake out.

A few all weather trails are Harrison Hollow Loop, Owls Roost, Mountain Cove.. etc. You can always use our Interactive Map as your guide to find the best sandy, all-weather routes and avoid the trails that will become too soft and sensitive once the rain begins. Plus a solid route whenever it rains is always the beloved Boise River Greenbelt: While not a foothills trail, this 25-mile paved path is the ultimate alternative if foothills conditions deteriorate significantly.

Enjoy your Monday morning windows and remember: if you’re leaving tracks, it’s time to turn back.
