December 17 Trail Report

Trail conditions are a bit different this morning after receiving slightly under a quarter-inch of  rain last night. If you refer to our Interactive Map: https://ridgetorivers.org/trails/interactive-map/ you'll see that sandier trails are still in good shape, while most others have a high likelihood of being muddy.

Today is supposed to be quite windy and the precip should stop early this morning, so we should see some drying by mid-afternoon. The key to responsible trail use on a day like today is to turn around if you are encountering muddy conditions. Don't continue along the muddy trail as you will create deep ruts that lead to erosion and are difficult to repair.
