August 7 Trail Report

Another hot weekend is in store for us! Get out early or head to our upper elevation trails where there is more shade and temperatures a bit cooler (but still hot....!). Most mid and lower Foothills streams have dried up, so remember to take extra water if you are bringing your 4-legged friends along - they'll need it.

All Claremont Fire-affected trails have now been cleared of debris. We will be replacing burned fencing and other miscellaneous structures over the next month. We hope to replace the burned bridge in 5-Mile Gulch and the burned culvert on Shane's Trail when temperatures cool down this fall.
